Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Mail Handler. As a Mail Handler, you will be responsible for handling and processing incoming and outgoing mail in a timely and efficient manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Load and unload mail from trucks or other transportation vehicles
- Operate RF scanners to track and record packages
- Prepare outgoing mail for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary documentation
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing mail
- Assist with inventory management of mail supplies
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
